Our last Ministerial Alliance meeting was held on Sept. 24, 2009. The Sunday before Thanksgiving will be the community Thanksgiving Service and will be held at the Edgewood United Methodist Church. Edgewood Pastor Linda Pope and Pastor Dave Gould will be speaking. Each church in the alliance will sing special music (one song) as part of the service. Please contact Pastor Dave if you want to sing. An offering will be taken to support the alliance. This is used to help individuals/families in time of need. The next meeting of the Ministerial Alliance will be October 22nd at the Haileyville Christian Church at 7:00 p.m.

 

Pastor Dave has established a Prision Ministry. This takes place in Wilburton and I visit once a month. I do this as well as making hospital visits. Please contact the church at 297-3214 or my cell phone at 429-9196 if you need a visit or chat. Special appointments can be arranged.

 

Beginning the first Saturday in November at the church, we will host a Men's/Boy's breakfast/fellowship. We will also have a devotion as well. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Please contact Pastor Dave for more details. All churches are invited.

 

Pastor Dave and Irma will be visiting other churches on Sunday evenings, but eventually would like to have an evening service. Would you like one? Let me know what you think. It is totally up to you. I need your birthdays and anniversaries for the newsletter as well. You need not put the year unless you want to.

 

Beginning November 5th (Thursday) from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., all teens are invited to attend a special series on the following topics:
